Terms of Service

1. The Service

Intellrise is a software tool that lets you connect your own data sources and use AI to turn plain-English questions into queries, charts, dashboards and reports. Intellrise is a software service, not a data-storage or accounting service, and does not provide professional, financial, legal or investment advice.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

3. Bring Your Own AI Key (BYOK)

The Service requires you to connect your own AI provider API key. You are responsible for complying with your AI provider's terms, any usage charges your provider bills you, and keeping your key valid. We store your key encrypted and use it only to process your requests.

4. Your data and content

You own your data and content. We claim no ownership of your data sources, questions, or the reports/dashboards you create. The SQL and outputs generated for you are yours to use.

You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service for you (e.g. to read your connected source to answer a question, and to store the content you choose to save). See the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the right to connect and query the data sources you add, and for the accuracy of that data.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully; attempt to access other tenants' data; reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the Service without authorization; probe, overload or disrupt the Service; or upload malicious content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Plans, billing & changes

Paid plans are billed through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, on a monthly or annual basis. Prices and plan features may change; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes. Taxes are handled by Lemon Squeezy where applicable. Cancellation, downgrades and refunds are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Intellectual property

We own the Service, its software, design and brand. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of our software or brand.

8. Third-party services

The Service integrates third parties (your chosen AI provider, your data sources, and our sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or acts of third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. AI-generated queries, charts and insights may be incomplete or incorrect — they are suggestions, not guarantees. You must verify results before relying on them for any decision. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Intellrise is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months before the claim (or, if you are on the free plan, RM100). Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for unlawful use. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling on closure is described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are subject to the courts of Malaysia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; we'll post the new date and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
