Pricing

$29 a month for Pro. Free is where your account lands.

Every new account starts on a 14-day Pro trial with no card. It works from either kind of data: a database you already run, or a spreadsheet — and the two are not the same amount of setup. A database you run has to accept a connection from our servers, so it needs a read-only user and a firewall rule that lets us in; a Google Sheet, a BigQuery project or an uploaded CSV or Excel file needs no inbound rule at all, because there is no port to open. After it lapses, the free tier stays free — it's the landing state, not an expiring demo. Every plan uses your own AI provider key, so the AI bill is between you and your provider: we never meter it, mark it up, or resell it. What that leaves you exposed to, and how far a ceiling actually holds, is answered under “How much can the AI half cost me?” below.

Comparable BI tools bill per seat — $14 to $75 a seat per month on Power BI, ThoughtSpot and Hex’s own pricing pages, read 15 August 2026 — and Looker, Sigma and Omni publish no price at all without a sales call. Intellrise starts at $0, Pro is $29/month flat for one seat, and the price does not move with how much data you connect or how many questions you ask. You bring your own AI key — AI costs only what your provider charges.

Every new account starts on a 14-day Pro trial with no card. After it lapses, the free tier stays free — it's the landing state, not an expiring demo.

Two ways in, and every plan takes both. If your numbers live in a spreadsheet, a Google Sheet connects with no read-only user and no open port, and CSV and Excel uploads work on the 14-day Pro trial. If you run a database — PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake or Databricks — Free covers one of them plus a Google Sheet, and Pro adds unlimited sources. The one thing no plan waives is your own AI provider key, and a Google Gemini key is free to create.

Free

For individuals trying Intellrise on a single data source.

  • 1 data source + Google Sheets (free)
  • 3 dashboards, unlimited charts
  • Unlimited reports + all export formats (CSV/Excel/PDF/PPTX/Word)A report is the write-up you save and send — headings, your own commentary, and a data section with the chart and the table under it. Keep as many as you like. Which file types you are offered depends on what you built: a data table gives Excel or CSV, a deck gives PowerPoint, a document gives PDF or Word.
  • AI report editingOn a saved report there is a box under the write-up: type “make it shorter and lead with the drop in July” and it rewrites that paragraph, or the title. Those two pieces of text only — it does not touch your numbers or re-run the query.
  • AI custom instructionsOne box in Settings that every answer has to follow — “only use the numbers the query returned, never guess”, “British English”, “keep it to three sentences”. You write it once instead of repeating it in every question.
  • Edit dbt schema & field descriptionsRename your columns and write down what they mean, in plain English, so the answers use your words. (dbt is a tool some data teams use; if you have never heard of it, this row is just “label your columns”.)
  • Bring your own AI keyA key is a free string you create in Google AI Studio and paste in once; it does not ask for a card. It means the AI runs on your own provider account rather than ours, so we never meter it or sell it back to you. What the free tier costs instead of money: Google's terms say free-tier content is used to improve its products, and it allows 15 requests a minute.

For analysts, operators and consultants who connect more than one source.

  • Everything in Free, plus:
  • Unlimited data sources + file upload (CSV/Excel)
  • Unlimited dashboards + full customization
  • Drag/resize, change chart type & colors, edit SQL
  • AI Semantic Schema LearningIntellrise learns what your columns actually mean once, and keeps it between sessions and through a schema refresh. You stop re-explaining that “gmv” is tax-inclusive at the start of every new conversation.
  • Control how much work each AI question doesTools that supply the AI meter your usage and sell it back to you as credits at their price. Your key goes straight to your provider, so you pay that provider directly at their rates. Inside Intellrise you set how much the AI is allowed to chew on per question — how much of your data it reads, how long an answer it writes, how hard it thinks — so a routine question stays cheap and an important one is allowed to cost more. On a plan that sells you credits, someone else decides that for you.
  • Email delivery (WhatsApp later)Email a report to yourself or someone else when you ask it to. It is send-on-demand, not a schedule — recurring Monday-morning delivery is not built yet, and WhatsApp is not either.
  • Read-only share linksSend someone a link to a dashboard. They can look at it, they cannot change it, and they do not need an Intellrise account.

Frequently asked questions

Every new account starts on a 14-day Pro trial with no card — nothing to enter, nothing to cancel. After it lapses, the account lands on the permanently free tier (one database source plus Google Sheets, three dashboards, unlimited reports and exports), so nothing gets locked away. You do need your own AI provider key on every plan, including during the trial; a Google Gemini key is free to create.

Refunds, switching plans mid-period, and who actually charges your card are answered in full on Billing & cancellation. Short version: 14-day money back on your first payment for a plan. The payment itself is taken by Lemon Squeezy, not by us — they are the Merchant of Record, which means they charge the card, add and remit any sales tax or VAT, and issue the invoice. Two things follow from that, and one of them is not in our favour: the line on your card statement begins with LEMSQZY, not with our name — that is us, not a stranger — and $29 is the price before tax, so where tax applies your card is charged more than $29. How we checked that, and why we will not print a rate for your country, is in “Is $29 the exact amount on my card?” above.

Ask in plain English, pin the answer to a dashboard, export it as CSV, Excel, PDF or PowerPoint — on the free tier that whole loop runs on one database source plus Google Sheets, and the field definitions you save carry into every later session, including after a schema refresh. One exception you should hear from us rather than discover: on a Google Sheet, re-running the tab picker — even only to add a tab — clears the definitions saved for that source and reads its schema fresh. Connecting a database is the technical part: a read-only user and network access, once. If your numbers live in a spreadsheet, none of that applies: put the file in a Google Sheet and it connects on the free tier, with no read-only user and no open port. Uploading a CSV or Excel file directly is a Pro feature, and every new account gets 14 days of Pro with no card. The one thing no plan waives is your own AI provider key, and a Google Gemini key is free to create.
